Iguazu Falls (Parque Nacional de Iguazu)
This amazing World heritage site on the borders of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. The border crossing is very relaxed because a lot of people cross for day trips. If you want to run the border from Argentina to Brazil it is possible, but you might have problems leaving brazil. (aka not be allowed back into brazil for 5-10 years)

  • park is open 9am to 6pm and costs about $10 US

Getting in and out
Buses run every 15-30 minutes or so from Puerto Iguazu.

Taxis will take you to and from Puerto Iguazu (round trip) for around 120 Argentina Pesos.
Getting Around
Once you're at the falls, walk around and check out the scenery. On the Argentine side the Garganta del diablo is worth the walk.
Things to do
If you have some spare cash, the boat rides at the bottom of the falls are entertaining. Be prepared to get soaked, and a little bit scared. Boat Drivers can easily be egged on to get uber close to the waterfalls. Be sure to keep the digital camera in the dry bags. P.S. the view from the bottom is spectacular.
