If this is your first time here

First off, thanks for visiting this site. This grand social experiment is based on the idea of sharing ideas and experiences. Instead of a single author telling people where to go and what to do, this site is a conversation between everyone in the world. Please help by adding, editing information, and voting.

Then there are some things you need to know:

• To edit a page, click on the pencil in the top right of the page. You can change everything in the main area of your page. The Wikidot language is easy to learn but powerful.
• Every page has a history of edits, and you can undo anything. So feel secure, and experiment.
• The more people add, the more complete the information so please spread the word (invite people to the facebook group wikibackpacker)
• You can attach images and other files to any page, then display them and link to them in the page.
• The license for WikiBackpacker has been set to Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License.
